He is survived by his former wife, Gail Shane (nee Hanover); children, Justin Eli (Jessica) Shane, and Erica Lauren Shane; sister, Robin Shane (Steve Van Till); granddaughter, Kathryn Frances Shane; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry Lee Hanover, Jacqueline Iris Hanover, Debra Arlene Hanover (David Laurence Hoatson), Linda Renee Hanover, Louis Todd Hanover, Lee Beth Hanover, Brian Jason Hanover, and Andrew Michael Hanover; and nephew-in-law, Michael Christopher Hoatson. He was predeceased by his parents, Myra L. Shane (nee Pritzker) and Sidney “Buzzy” Shane; and in-laws, Eli Ted Hanover and Frances Hannah Michaelson Hanover.
Kenneth was generous, kind and a real pleasure to be around. His love of music, sense of humor and friendly demeanor will be missed forever.
